Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week! I can't believe it's almost the end of November; I feel like fall is flying by. Thanksgiving is next week and then we will have Christmas! I'm so excited! But first, let's talk about some Friday favorites!
I have home renovations on the brain so that's what inspired this week's Friday Favorites. Also, my photos are all from Magnolia Market.
I want to start off with something that everyone is loving right now. Shiplap! I am obsessed with it and I am trying to find places to incorporate it in our home.
I love this bathroom from Fixer Upper. The shiplap adds some texture to the walls and is complimented nicely by the dark blue paint color. Having shiplap as an accent is a great way to add character without having shiplap everywhere, although that doesn't sound too bad :)
My next favorite is concrete countertops. There is something so unique about them. Concrete is a great alternative to traditional stone counters and can be relatively inexpensive if you do it yourself.
I love the combination of concrete counters with white cabinets and subway tile. Although concrete counters are somewhat of a trend right now, there is something classic about them. There are different options for colors as well. I personally love a light to medium grey.
My final favorite is something inspired by our bathroom redo. I love vessel sinks. I am seriously considering one for our upstairs full bath. I love the way they look and they add character and design to the bathroom.
I love the look of these vessel sinks on an old dresser turned bathroom vanity. This bathroom looks so classic and beautiful. The faucets put the design over the top. They are perfect. I love the shape and color of these sinks too. I don't like the clear glass vessel sinks as much, I prefer the white ones. The white ties in nicely with a farmhouse feel.
I love thinking about home renovations and redesigning spaces in our home, so this was an easy post for me to write. I hope this gave you some inspiration of your own.
Don't forget about the sale going on right now on storyboards. I would love to help you redesign your own space!
