Farmhouse Decor from Amazon

Happy Monday!

I wanted to share a few items I found on Amazon that are perfectly farmhouse. I don't normally think to shop on Amazon for home decor, but they have some really cute things. Here are some of my favorites that I found.

I will take one of each of these please and thank you! Everything here is farmhouse in style and practical and useful too!

I love the wooden ipad holder and I can think of a lot of ways to use that caddy. Desk organizer, silverware or candle holder, just to name a few! The metal basket would be perfect for blankets or extra storage for just about anything. The metal wall organizer would be great for storing mail and I love the simplicity of these canisters. I don't think I need to say much about these metal chairs. They speak for themselves. Love!

So, the next time you are on the hunt for some farmhouse decor, check out Amazon. Also, if you are unfamiliar with Amazon Smile, I highly recommend trying it. The only difference between it and Amazon is that you can choose a charity to donate part of your total to. I have mine set up to donate to The Animal Rescue of Tracy, where we found our fur baby, Molly. There are a lot of charities you can choose from and it doesn't cost you anything! What's not to love?

I also want to say that this is not an affiliated post, I just really like all of these items. As I said above, I will take one of each please!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!

It's time for Friday Favorites and I'm excited to share some fun favorites with you! Here we go!

1. Hanging florals

I love hanging vases or even baskets with vases in them. I love the way it adds some life to a space and pretty flowers are always a good idea.

2. My Floral Throw Pillows

The moment I saw these I fell in love! I love the color and the beautiful floral design, my favorite part is the lace around the edge. They are filled with feathers so they are soft and comfy. I love when I find something I love when I wasn't even looking for it. These were from TJMaxx.

3. Signs

I am in love with signs for the home. My favorites are ones with short sayings or with popular quotes. These are a few I found from an Instagram account I just started following. The Etsy shop is Dahlia Design Company.

Well, these are just a few things I have been loving lately! I hope you enjoyed and maybe even gained some inspiration!

Our Master Bedroom

Happy Tuesday!

I have been working on our master bedroom a bit and wanted to share some pictures with you. There are still a few things I want to do, like paint the walls, but for now I am focusing on decorating it. I have a few ideas for wall decor, but for now this is our room!

My father-in-law built us our bed for a wedding present. I love it. The color is perfect and will go with anything. It is definitely a special piece to us.

I'm not sure what the wall color is, it's from the previous owners. I want to paint the walls a lighter blue/grey/green color. I'm thinking about Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams.

Our comforter is from Homegoods and our floral pillows are from TJMaxx.

Our lamps are from Target a few years ago.

I can't remember where we got our nightstands from. Possibly target, but it was also a few years ago.

I want to get something for the wall to the right of the bed and for above the bed. Then we will want to paint, get new trim and eventually new carpet.

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into our home! I will be sharing more of these for other rooms in our house soon. We are working on our half bath so you will probably see that next!

Favorite Bathroom Vanities

We are in the middle of redoing our half bath and we have it completely empty, no flooring, no vanity, no toilet, nothing but four walls. We have everything picked out for our new bathroom and we have our new bathroom vanity hanging out in our dining room until it's time to be installed. Seeing this beauty everyday has me thinking about how hard it was to find it. We looked everywhere and I couldn't find one I liked, and if I did like it it was too expensive. So I thought I'd help you guys out if any of you are searching for the perfect bathroom vanity. These are some of my favorites that won't blow your budget.

This first one if from Wayfair and is only $264.99. It comes in different colors but here I have the white one. I love the simplicity of it. It isn't too large, yet has some storage underneath. I also really like the unique handles.

This next one is also from Wayfair and is $242.99. It is very similar to the above one but with a few different details, like the handles. This one also come in different colors but I chose the grey one here. I like the cottage feel this one has with the beadboard doors and the molding around the sink adds some unique design.

I love this vanity from Home Depot and it's only $399. The color is beautiful and I love the farmhouse style. It has plenty of storage with a door and three drawers. Plus it has a shelf underneath for baskets or extra towels.

Last but not least, this is the vanity we chose. I am so happy with it! I love the color and the clean white top. It has plenty of storage for our half bath. You can't see in this picture but the sides have a paneling on them similar to beadboard. I can't wait to install it! We purchased it from Wayfair.

Choosing a bathroom vanity can be difficult. There is a lot of pressure to pick the perfect one. It's not something you can easily change in a year if you get sick of it so you want to make sure you are choosing the right one.

If you are in the middle of a bathroom reno or are thinking about doing one soon, I hope this helped you in your search for the perfect vanity.

How to Decorate with Greenery

I love incorporating greenery into my decor with faux potted plants and wreaths. It brings a natural feel into a space and I love it. If you want to bring a fresh and natural look into your room, keep reading.

Small faux potted plants are a great way to bring some "life" into a room. Although they aren't real plants, they give the same look. I like displaying them in baskets or on a bookshelf.

I just got this plant from Marshalls and I love the cement container it's in. I got two of them and put one in my kitchen cookbook basket.

These plants don't have to be small. I love these two galvanized metal tin plants. My mother-in-law got these for me and I love them. I have them as a centerpiece on my dining table at the moments, but they were on our back porch for awhile too.

Another way I love to incorporate greenery is with wreaths. I love magnolia wreaths and there are so many ways to display them. This is how I have one in our living room. It's hanging from an old framed screen. I painted the frame and made this wreath to hang on it.

I love decorating with greenery, whether it be faux potted plants or wreaths. There are so many different ways to incorporate this natural look into your home. I hope this gave you some inspiration to try it yourself!
