Fall Outfit Inspiration

I've put together a few more fall outfits to share with you. I love fall clothes and putting outfits together, I was a fashion merchandising major, so I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration!

Fall outfit 1

This first outfit has my favorite pair of jeans. These are so comfortable and I love the distressing. I live in these in the fall/winter. They have the perfect amount of stretch without losing their shape. I also love this peplum tee from Target. I got it last year but here it is in other colors. I love the oversized look of it and it is so soft and comfortable. These boots are perfect for fall, too. The color is nice and neutral and they are really comfortable.

Fall outfit 2

Let's talk about this top. I love it! It's from Loft last year but this is a similar one. These are similar jeans to the ones above, just in a different wash. These boots are the same as above. See, they go with everything! The necklace was from Loft last year, too. However, here are a few of my picks that would also go well with this outfit. 1. 2. 3.

I hope you enjoyed this fall outfit inspiration! I really enjoy putting outfits together so I hope you enjoy seeing them.

Best Dry Shampoo

I'm excited to write a post geared towards beauty. I will be adding some of these in here every once in awhile.

One of my necessities when it comes to beauty products is dry shampoo. I know I'm not alone here, right? I love dry shampoo and how it allows me to go longer in between my washes. If it can make my hair feel and look fresh, it's a keeper!

I've rounded up three different kinds and I've rated each one. These are all available at Target and probably most drugstores.

First up we have Dove Refresh+Care Volume and Fullness. I was optimistic about this one. I've wanted to try it for awhile and I finally decided to go for it. I have to say, I was surprised how much I liked it! It was only $3.49 so I figured if it wasn't good at least it was cheap. I love that it gives my hair volume and fullness. It smells really good and it doesn't leave the white residue some dry shampoos do. This dry shampoo gets a 5 out of 5! I love it! It's inexpensive, smells good, leaves my hair looking fresh and clean, and gives me volume!

Dove Dry Shampoo

Next we have Batiste. This has been my favorite for years. It is amazing! I love the different scents and how it makes my hair look fresh. This one does leave a white residue, although if you're blonde it doesn't show as much. However, I don't mind the white. I feel like it can almost make my hair look lighter which I like. They do make ones that are made to add color. They have blonde, brunette and darker brown hair. I've used the one for blonde and I prefer the normal one. There are so many different scents to choose from too! I really like the Tropical and the Neon scents, although I love them all. I would rate this one a 4.5 out of 5. I took off half a point only because of the residue it leaves. Again, I like the white powder it leaves, but I know not everyone would.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Lastly we have Not Your Mother's Clean Freak. I was optimistic about this one too. However, it did not do what I was hoping. This dry shampoo left my hair feeling dirtier than before I used it. It did not do anything to make my hair feel fresh at all. It does have a decent scent and it wasn't expensive, only $4.49 at Target. However, it didn't do what it was suppose to. I don't know if I wasn't using enough or if I was using too much, but it wasn't a keeper for me. I would give it a 1 out of 5 only because it did have a decent smell and it wasn't expensive.

Not Your Mother's Clean Freak

I hope this review of a few dry shampoos was helpful! Dry shampoo is a staple for me and I love to try new ones. Let me know your favorite in the comments!

A Farmhouse Style Bedroom - Reveal

It's finally time to reveal our bedroom! After paint, new trim, some new decorations, and a lot of work, I'm so excited to show you our new room! Here is the storyboard I shared a while back. I really wanted the look to be light and airy with natural touches. I loved the idea of using some black accents with some natural wood accents as well.

And here is our new bedroom!

I love the lighter color we chose for the walls. It's Sherwin Williams Sea Salt and it's the perfect light grey/blue. We painted the doors white and spray painted the door knobs black. This is such an easy and inexpensive way to update interior doors.

I love how the hanging vases turned out above our bed. I may do a tutorial for it if anyone is interested. It's really easy and inexpensive.

Right now we have sheer white curtains, but I may change them up for drop cloth curtains like I have in the storyboard. I like the airy feeling the sheer white ones bring, but I also really like the natural look of the drop cloth curtains.

I love the way our bedroom turned out. It's exactly what I had envisioned.

If you would like help refreshing your bedroom, or any other room, head over to my e-design page. I have different storyboard options and now through October 14 they're 40% off with code FALL40. I would love to help you create your dream space!
